Ingredients:

• 1 kg – shrimp (uncooked)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 – Coconut (grated)
• 2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• 2 – elaichi
• 2 – Cardamom
• 2 – Cinnamon – 2
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 pinch – Sugar
• Raisins, a few
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, light fry the shrimps and keep aside.
  2. In a separate pan heat oil add bay leaves, cardamom and cinnamon. Add onion and green chillies.
  3. When the onion turns brown add ginger paste.
  4. Add grated coconut and stir fry it for sometime.
  5. Add turmeric powder and salt. Let it get cooked.
  6. Add shrimp and then mix it well.
  7. Add 1.5 cups water. After a while add sugar.
  8. Let it get cooked till there is very less water left.
  9. Add raisins and serve.
