Ingredients:
• 1 cup – basmati Rice
• salt as per taste
• 1 tsp- Haldi
• 3 nos – green Onions
• 2 nos – Onions
• 3 nos – green mirchi
• 2 cup – Chicken pieces
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 tbsp – curry powder
• 1 tsp – soy sauce
• pinch of ajinomoto
• chopped kothmeer
Method:
- Boil water. Add haldi (lots) & salt. When it starts boiling, add washed basmati rice.
- Let the rice cook. Once rice is done, drain the water out and let it cool by laying it down in an aluminium foil.
- Cut some green onions, regular onions and green mirchi.
- Cut chicken into medium to small pieces.
- In a separate vessel, add some oil and add chicken to it.
- Let the chicken cook a little bit and then add a good amount of curry powder. Mix well.
- Then add the regular onion and fry a little bit till it gets soft.
- Once that’s done add this masala on top of the rice and also add all the following ingredients on top of the rice soy sauce, green mirchi, ajino moto, salt, green onion and kothmeer. Mix well and enjoy (the green onions are supposed to be raw in this dish. That is what brings the taste).
