Ingredients:
• 400 g – peas(shelled)
• 300 g – Cottage cheese
• 2 small bunches Spinach
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 – boiled Potatoes
• 4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – dry Mango powder
• 10 tbsp – Arrowroot powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• a handful – coriander leaves(finely chopped)
• a pinch – soda
• salt to taste
• oil for deep frying
Method:
- Boil the peas, potatoes and mash them while still hot.
- Clean and wash the spinach.
- Boil the spinach (without any water) with a pinch of soda.
- Squeeze out the water completely from the spinach and grind it coarsely.
- Crumble the cottage cheese.
- Mix all the ingredients together and make dough.
- Make small flat patties and deep fry in hot oil.
- Serve with cucumber, onion slices and a bowl of mint dip.
