Ingredients:
• 5 – leftover idlis
• Besan as required
• 1/2 cup – grated Carrot
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – grated Cabbage
• salt as required
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Take besan, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, vegetables and add water to make a batter.
- Cut idlis into long strips. Heat oil and dip each idli strip into the batter and fry them till they are golden brown.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
