Ingredients:
• 1 small tin – pineapple.
• 100g – rawa.
• 100g – cashew nuts, roasted and chopped.
• 5 tbsp – ghee.
• 1 tsp – Cardamom seeds.
• a few drops yellow food colouring (optional).
• a few drops essence of Pineapple (optional).
• Sugar to suit the taste.
Method:
- Heat ghee. Add rawa and cardamom seeds and keep on stirring to a light golden colour.
- Put in the syrup from pineapple tin and sugar and keep on stirring till thick.
- Mix in the pineapple pieces, half the cashew nuts, essence and colour.
- Put in a serving dish and decorate with remaining cashew nuts.
