Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Rawa (Shoji or Semolina)
• 2 cups – Rice powder
• 3 tsp – flour ( Maida)
• 4 – Green chillies finely chopped
• 1 – small piece ( 3 cm cube) of Ginger finely chopped.
• Curry leaves
• Finely chopped coriander
• 2 – onion, finely chopped ( optional)
• 2 tsp – Coconut, finely cut
• 1.5 tsp – Jeera
• Black 1/2 tsp – pepper Corns
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Salt to taste.
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• Oil
• 9 cups – Water
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients (except Onions, mustard, jeer, pepper corns, ghee and oil) with water. Heat the ghee and add mustard, jeer and pepper corns.
- Once they start crackling, add it to the already prepared batter.
- Keep it aside for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Place the non-stick tawa on the stove.
- Sprinkle finely chopped onions.(optional)
- Pour the batter evenly in a round shape from a height of about 6 inches.
- Pour 2 teaspoon full of oil over the dosa.
- Allow to cook for 2 minutes.
- Turn over and cook for a minute. Serve hot with coconut chutney..
