Ingredients:
• 1 kg – boneless, skinless Chicken breast
• Tandoori marinade:
• 1 – onion, chopped coarsely
• 2 – Garlic cloves, chopped fine
• 2 tbsp – Lime juice
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – ground coriander
• 2 tsp – paprika
• 1 tsp – ground Ginger
• 1/2 tsp – chilli pepper, powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – ground Cloves
• 2 cups – plain non-fat yogurt
• salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method:
- In a food processor, puree the onion and garlic.
- Add lemon, lime juice, spices, yogurt and process to blend.
- Marinate the chicken breasts in this mixture overnight, turning occasionally, in the refrigerator.
- Prepare a charcoal or wood fire and let it burn down to the embers.
- Remove the excess marinade and grill for 5 mins on each side or until done.
- Serve with yogurt cilantro sauce to taste.
