Ingredients:

• 1 – long French bread
• 2-3 – Lettuce leaves
• 1 – tomato, sliced thinly
• 4 to 5 – Cucumber slices
• 1 – small onion, sliced
• 1/2 cup – smoked salmon, thinly sliced
• 1/4 cup – mayonnaise (of your flavour)

Method:

  1. Warm the bread in an oven. Slice it lengthwise.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on both sides.
  3. Put the lettuce leaves on one slice.
  4. Layer with cucumber, tomato, onion slices and smoked salmon.
  5. Close the slice with the other slice.
  6. Warm the sandwich for 2-3 mins in oven again.
  7. Slice the sandwich half. Serve with wafers.
