Ingredients:

• For dough:
• 1 kg – Potatoes
• 1/2 kg – arrow root powder
• For the stuffing:
• 1 – grated Coconut
• 200 g – roasted Peanuts
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 bunch -coriander leaves
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• salt to taste
• oil for deep frying.

Method:

  1. Pressure cook the potatoes till 5-6 whistles.
  2. Mash it and mix well with arrow root powder to make dough.
  3. Dry grind the coconut, peanuts and sugar very coarsely.
  4. Add finely chopped coriander, green chillies and salt to this mixture.
  5. Roll out small puris with the dough, put 1 tbsp of this mixture and make balls.
  6. Deep fry in oil to light brown colour.
