Ingredients:
• Button Mushrooms – 200 g, sliced
• Green peas – 1 cup, cooked
• Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup
• Green chillies – 2 to 3, chopped
• Garlic – 6 flakes
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Onion – 1 cup, sliced
• A few Curry leaves
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind coconut with garlic and green chillies into a paste.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add onion and fry till brown.
- Add coconut paste and fry till fragrant.
- Add curry leaves and all the masalas.
- Add mushroom and salt.
- Cook on low flame till mushrooms are cooked.
- Add green peas and cook stirring till all the water from the mushrooms is absorbed.
- Serve with steamed rice and dal.
