Ingredients:

• Button Mushrooms – 200 g, sliced
• Green peas – 1 cup, cooked
• Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup
• Green chillies – 2 to 3, chopped
• Garlic – 6 flakes
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Onion – 1 cup, sliced
• A few Curry leaves
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind coconut with garlic and green chillies into a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add onion and fry till brown.
  3. Add coconut paste and fry till fragrant.
  4. Add curry leaves and all the masalas.
  5. Add mushroom and salt.
  6. Cook on low flame till mushrooms are cooked.
  7. Add green peas and cook stirring till all the water from the mushrooms is absorbed.
  8. Serve with steamed rice and dal.
