Ingredients:

• 1 cup – all purpose flour/maida
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1 tbsp – Rice flour
• 1 tbsp – soya flour
• 1 – Onion
• 3 – Green chillies
• Small quantity -ginger
• Small quantity -curry leaves
• Small quantity -coriander leaves
• 1 pinch -asafoetida
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tbsp – butter/ghee
• salt
• oil

Method:

  1. Mix all the flours in a vessel/bowl including soya flour.
  2. Add a little salt, ghee, chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chopped ginger, asafoetida and baking powder.
  3. Mix in water and make it in to a dosa batter. The dough should not be too thin or too thick.
  4. Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add 2 to 3 tsps of batter at a time.
  5. Fry till it turns brown in colour.
  6. It can be served as an evening snack/tiffin item along with idlis, coconut chutney and sambhar.
