Ingredients:

• 4 – eggs
• 1.5 cup – Maida
• 1.5 cup – Sugar
• 1.5 cup – Butter (white) or Vanaspati ghee
• 1.5 tsp – Baking powder
• 1.5 tsp – Vanilla essence
• 2 – Medium-sized, green Bananas
• 1/4 cup – Milk

Method:

  1. Sieve together maida and baking powder 3 times.
  2. Beat the butter with a electric beater till soft and fluffy.
  3. Add sugar to it, and beat again till it blends well together.
  4. Beat egg whites till peaks are formed. Beat egg yolk too.
  5. Mix the maida to the above sugar and ghee mix.
  6. Add the egg yolk first and then the egg white.
  7. Mix this in one direction only.
  8. Mix in the mashed bananas.
  9. Put this in a round greased pan and bake at 220 degrees C for half an hour or till done.
