Ingredients:

• 1 – Egg
• 3/4 cup- Orange juice
• 1 cup -milk
• 1.5 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1 tbsp – grated cheese powder
• A few Mint leaves for garnishing
• 1/4 tsp – grated Orange rind

Method:

  1. Separate egg yolk and egg white.
  2. Beat white till it is stiff.
  3. In a flat saucepan, bring to boil 3/4 cup milk and keep simmering.
  4. Drop 1 tbsp egg white at a time in simmering milk.
  5. Slowly spoon a little milk on the top of float and cook for a minute.
  6. Remove and keep aside.
  7. Repeat this for the remaining egg white.
  8. Boil 1/2 a cup milk with the remaining boiled milk, while adding 1 tbsp sugar.
  9. Remove from fire when sugar melts, cool slightly.
  10. Lightly beat the egg yolk.
  11. Keep the milk vessel over the hot water pan, and add egg yolk.
  12. Beat with egg beater till thick.
  13. Pour the mixture in a serving bowl.
  14. Chill it.
  15. In a bowl, mix together orange juice, orange rind, cheese powder and 1/2 tbsp sugar.
  16. Pour the orange juice mixture over the chilled milk-egg mixture.
  17. Sprinkle some nutmeg.
  18. Garnish with mint leaves.
  19. Chill before serving.
