Ingredients:

• 8 – bread slices
• 100 g – Carrots (chopped finely)
• 100 g – French beans (chopped finely)
• 75 g – Potatoes
• 1 – Capsicum (chopped finely)
• 2 – Spring onions (chopped fine)
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – soya sauce
• 1/2 tsp – ajinomoto
• 1/2 cup – flour
• 2 tbsp – sesame seeds
• 1.5 tbsp – oil
• Pepper to taste
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil and mash potatoes.
  2. Heat oil, add the chopped vegetables and ajinomoto.
  3. Saute for 5 mins.
  4. Add potatoes, soya sauce, chilli powder and salt.
  5. Mix well and cook for another 5 mins.
  6. With a cutter, cut out small rounds of the bread slices.
  7. Put a little cooked vegetable mixture over each bread round and press in place.
  8. Add 1/2 cup water to the flour and make a smooth paste.
  9. Apply a little paste over the potato mixture, taking care to apply the paste on the edges of the potato dome, to join the potatoes with the bread.
  10. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and press gently.
  11. Deep-fry in hot oil.
  12. Turn sides quickly as bread turns brown very fast.
  13. Serve hot with chilli-garlic sauce.
