Ingredients:

• 2 cups – cooked Chole
• 1 cup – chopped Onion
• 4 or 5 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tbsp – Red Chilli powder (add more if you want)
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
• 1 cup – thick Coconut Milk
• Water (even water from the cooked Chole will do)
• Mustard seeds, Curry leaves and oil for seasoning

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add the mustard seeds. When it splutters, saute the chopped onions and green chillies till it’s transparent.
  2. Add chole and mix it well with the masala.
  3. Add enough salt, water and coconut milk and bring it to a boil.
  4. Season it with curry leaves. This goes well with idli and dosa.
