Ingredients:
• 2 cups – cooked Chole
• 1 cup – chopped Onion
• 4 or 5 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tbsp – Red Chilli powder (add more if you want)
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
• 1 cup – thick Coconut Milk
• Water (even water from the cooked Chole will do)
• Mustard seeds, Curry leaves and oil for seasoning
Method:
- Heat oil, add the mustard seeds. When it splutters, saute the chopped onions and green chillies till it’s transparent.
- Add chole and mix it well with the masala.
- Add enough salt, water and coconut milk and bring it to a boil.
- Season it with curry leaves. This goes well with idli and dosa.
