Ingredients:
• 1 cup – ordinary Rice
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1/2 – Coconut (grated)
• 6-8 – Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Hing 1/2
• salt (as per taste)
• Oil
Method:
- Soak the rice and dal in water for a couple of hours.
- Grind the mixture to a fine paste adding coconut, red chillies, hing, and salt.
- Add water if required (it should be of pouring consistency).
- Heat a tawa and smear a little oil over it.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it like a dosa.
- Pour a tsp of oil around the dosa.
- When cooked, turn the other side and cook till golden brown.
