Ingredients:

• 1 cup – ordinary Rice
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1/2 – Coconut (grated)
• 6-8 – Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Hing 1/2
• salt (as per taste)
• Oil

Method:

  1. Soak the rice and dal in water for a couple of hours.
  2. Grind the mixture to a fine paste adding coconut, red chillies, hing, and salt.
  3. Add water if required (it should be of pouring consistency).
  4. Heat a tawa and smear a little oil over it.
  5. Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it like a dosa.
  6. Pour a tsp of oil around the dosa.
  7. When cooked, turn the other side and cook till golden brown.
