Ingredients:
• 2 cup – Rice
• 4 – hard boiled eggs
• 1 – onion, chopped finely
• 3 – green chillies, chopped finely
• 1 inch piece – Ginger
• 3 – Garlic flakes
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 – big Cardamom
• 3 – Cloves
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt as per taste
• 3.5 cup – water
• Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Make a paste of ginger and garlic.
- Wash the rice and soak for 30 mins
- Shell and halve the eggs, lengthwise
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till golden brown
- Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 3 mins
- Add chopped chillies and simmer for a minute
- Add bay leaves, cloves and cardamoms along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala
- Now add the halved eggs
- Add rice, salt and water
- Cook till rice is cooked
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
