Ingredients:
• Lady’s Fingers – 10
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 1 tsp – Fenugreek seeds
• A few Curry leaves
• 5 – Red Chillies
• 1 small piece of Coconut
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• A ball sized Tamarind
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard and fenugreek seeds. Allow them to splutter. Then add 15 curry leaves.
- Take out, put it in the mixie along with a small piece of coconut and 5 red chillies and grind it to a paste.
- Mix turmeric and salt to the cut lady’s fingers and mix well.
- Take lukewarm water, add the tamarind in it and extract the juice.
- In a pan, fry the lady’s fingers till nice and brown.
- When the lady’s fingers are properly fried, add the masala and mix it well.
- Add the tamarind juice to it and salt as required.
- Let it cook for 5 mins.
- Take another pan, add a tsp of oil and mustard seeds to it and allow to splutter. Then add curry leaves.
- Pour it over the lady’s fingers.
