Ingredients:
• 1 kg – mince Meat either Beef or Mutton
• 2 big Onions chopped
• 2 Tomatoes chopped
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chopped Mint
• 4 tbsp – bread crumbs
• 1 Egg beaten
• salt to taste
• 1 cup – water
• 2 Chicken soup cubes
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
Method:
- Wash the mince and drain off the water.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil and the mince, onions, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, soup cubes, a little salt and simmer on low heat till the mince is cooked and the water dries up.
- Mix the cooked mince with half the breadcrumbs, pepper, chilli powder, chopped mint and a little more salt if required.
- Bind stiffly with the beaten egg.
- Butter an oblong loaf tin or dish and coat it with the remaining breadcrumbs.
- Pack in the cooked mince mixture tightly and cover with aluminium foil.
- Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees ) for 40 -50 minutes.
- When cold, turn out on to a serving plate.
- Serve with bread and a green salad.
