Ingredients:
• 250 gms- shrimp
• 1 – medium size Onion
• 1 – small Tomato
• 1 tsp – Tomato paste or Tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Coriander leaves as required
• For Spices:
• 1 tsp – ground pepper
• 1 tsp – ground Cuminutes
• 2 to 4 Cloves – crushed Garlic
• Turmeric as required
• red pepper powder to taste
• salt to taste
Method:
- Marinate shrimp in all the spices and some oil for 1/2 to 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion in it. Then add the marinated shrimp to it, stir fry.
- Add finely chopped tomato and coriander to it. Add tomato paste and saute.
- Cover and simmer on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup of water.
- Cover and cook, stirring occasionally (frozen shrimp takes about 20-25 minutes to be done soft).
