Ingredients:

• 2 cups – boiled basmati Rice
• 3 – tomatoes, chopped
• 2 tsp – Green peas
• 2 tsp – French beans, chopped
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 – green chillies, silted
• 12 to 15 – Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 inch – ginger, crushed
• 1 tsp – fennel seed, crushed
• 2 pieces – Cinnamon
• 3 or 4 – Cloves
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 2 tsp – veg oil
• 1 or 2 – Bay Leaf
• salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil add crushed garlic and ginger, bay leaf, fennel seed, cinnamon, cloves, fry for 2 min. To this add green chillies, peas, French beans, tomatoes, salt, turmeric, chilli powder. Mix well and cook with closed lid till the veg are soft.
  2. Add garam masala powder to the gravy. Mix well.
  3. Now add boiled rice and mix well till the rice absorbs all the gravy.
  4. Tomato garlic rice is ready.
  5. Garnish it with chopped onions and coriander leaves before serving.
