Ingredients:

• 2 cups – basmati Rice
• 2 tsp – Butter
• 5 – Cloves
• 4 – Cardamom
• 1 inch – Cinnamon
• 15 – cashew
• 1 -onion
• 4 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – ginger- Garlic paste
• 100 g – fresh Spinach
• 3 cups – water
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat butter and add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon.
  2. When they splutter, add onions, chillies and ginger-garlic paste.
  3. Fry till onion turns light brown. Then add spinach and rice, and fry it for 2 mins.
  4. Add salt and water.
  5. Cook for 3 whistles. Then remove and serve, garnished with cashews.
