Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – sprouted horse gram (cooked with a pinch of salt)
• 1/2 cup – Onion (chopped)
• 1/2 cup – Tomato (chopped)
• 3 – Green chillies (slit vertically)
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/4 cup – Coconut
• 4 – Cashew nuts (full) (can be replaced with roasted gram)
• Salt, as needed
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Coriander – for garnishing
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf and fennel.
- Then add onion, green chillies and tomato. Fry well.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add water and salt. Allow the contents to cook well till the raw smell of turmeric powder goes.
- Now, add cooked sprouted horse gram.
- After 5 minutes, add the ground coconut and cashew.
- Switch off the stove when contents thicken.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice, chapatti, naan, etc.
