Ingredients:
• 3 – eggs, separated
• 4 tbsps – mixed chopped nuts
• 1/4 cup – each of Refined flour and Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – essence of vanilla
Method:
- Beat the yolks till thick. Add sugar and continue beating till light and foamy.
- Beat the whites till stiff and mix into the yolks nicely.
- Sift the flour and baking powder thrice. Mix into the eggs. Mix in essence and nuts.
- Grease 12 custard cups with butter.
- Fill each cup about half full with batter.
- If you like, you can garnish the top with few nuts.
- Place the containers using either pan cover or foil.
- Bake in a pre-heated mode oven for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Serve hot.
