Ingredients:
• 1 cup – desiccated Coconut flakes
• 1/4 cup – edible gum granules
• 1/4 cup – finely chopped or grated dry Dates (khajur)
• 1 level cup – powdered Sugar
• 2 tbsp – dried Ginger (soonth) powder
• 1 tbsp – Wheat flour
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 tsp – crushed aniseed (saunf)
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
Method:
- Melt ghee in a heavy pan.
- Stir in flour, then add gum granules.
- They will pop, stir till fully popped.
- Take off fire, add all other ingredients.
- Mix well, check for taste if more sugar is required.
- Press well into a container, in loose form.
- Serve as required.
