Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Maida
• 1 pinch – baking soda
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1.5 cups – Ghee
• 1 cup – water
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Put 1 cup of water to the sugar and allow it to dissolve. You can stir it with a spoon so that it dissolves faster. Keep it aside.
  2. Mix maida and baking powder.
  3. Add the ghee and mix it.
  4. Now add the dissolved sugar syrup slowly and make soft dough.
  5. Do not make it too watery.
  6. Keep it aside for about 15 minutes.
  7. Make balls out of this dough and roll out to 1 inch thickness.
  8. Do not make it too thin.
  9. Now with a knife you can cut into desired shape [squares or diamonds].
