Ingredients:

• 100 g – Channa dal
• 100 g -whole Urad Dal
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 cup – Mint leaves
• 1 – Onion
• Salt as per taste
• A pinch – soda bicarb
• 1 tsp – coriander
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
• A pinch – Rock Salt
• 1 tsp – amchur powder
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Soak the channa dal and urad dal for 8 hours.
  2. Drain and grind coarsely in a mixer.
  3. Add all the spices, salt and soda bicarb to it, and mix well.
  4. Add the mint leaves, onion and green chillies. Mix well.
  5. Make round vadas from the mixture and deep fry in hot oil
  6. Serve hot with chutney
