Ingredients:
• 100 g – Channa dal
• 100 g -whole Urad Dal
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 cup – Mint leaves
• 1 – Onion
• Salt as per taste
• A pinch – soda bicarb
• 1 tsp – coriander
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
• A pinch – Rock Salt
• 1 tsp – amchur powder
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Soak the channa dal and urad dal for 8 hours.
- Drain and grind coarsely in a mixer.
- Add all the spices, salt and soda bicarb to it, and mix well.
- Add the mint leaves, onion and green chillies. Mix well.
- Make round vadas from the mixture and deep fry in hot oil
- Serve hot with chutney
