Ingredients:
• 1 – raw, unripe Mango
• 1 cup – rice, uncooked
• salt to taste
• To temper: 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• pinch of Hing
• few Curry leaves
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1-2 – Red Chillies
• 2 tsp – Peanuts
Method:
- Grate the mango after peeling the skin.
- Cook the rice and let it cool.
- Heat oil in a pan and temper with the ingredients listed for the purpose.
- Add the grated mango.
- Fry the mixture for a minute or two.
- Add salt and the mango mixture to the rice. Stir well.
- Serve with pappad.
