Ingredients:
• 1 – French Bread, cut in pieces
• 100 g – Tofu Cheese, cut in thin pieces
• Veggies:
• 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup – red bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – yellow bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – green bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – Lettuce leaves, crushed
• 1 tsp – peppercorn, crushed
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – cheese spread
Method:
- Heat butter in a pan, add sliced spring onion and saute for 1 minute.
- Now add bell peppers and cook for 1 minute more. Season with a little salt and peppercorn.
- Heat a non-stick tava, roast tofu pieces on it.
- Apply cheese spread on the French bread pieces and toast them. Place the sauteed vegetables, lettuce leaves and roasted tofu on it and bake or microwave for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
