Ingredients:

• 1 – French Bread, cut in pieces
• 100 g – Tofu Cheese, cut in thin pieces
• Veggies:
• 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup – red bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – yellow bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – green bell pepper, sliced
• 1/2 cup – Lettuce leaves, crushed
• 1 tsp – peppercorn, crushed
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – cheese spread

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a pan, add sliced spring onion and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Now add bell peppers and cook for 1 minute more. Season with a little salt and peppercorn.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava, roast tofu pieces on it.
  4. Apply cheese spread on the French bread pieces and toast them. Place the sauteed vegetables, lettuce leaves and roasted tofu on it and bake or microwave for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
