Ingredients:

• 3 – Tomatoes
• 1/2 bunch – coriander
• 10 – Green chillies
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – Tamarind juice
• 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric
• 1 tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• 1/4 tbsp -asafoetida

Method:

  1. Grind 1 tomato, coriander, tamarind juice, salt and 5 green chillies, a little turmeric and keep it aside.
  2. Season oil in a pan with 1 tbsp mustard seeds, 1 tbsp channa dal and a little of asafoetida.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies and bring it to boil.
  4. Add the ground mixture to this and let it boil for 2-3 mins. Serve.
