Ingredients:

• 1 cup – cooked Rice
• 4 – medium sized Tomatoes cut into small pieces
• 3 – Green chillies slit
• 1 – Onion cut, a few sprigs coriander
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – powdered Saunf
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 3 tsp – oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in kadai, add mustard. When they crackle, add the onions, curry leaves and green chilli, saute until onion is golden brown.
  2. Add tomatoes, saunf powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt and saute until tomato is fully cooked.
  3. Add the rice, coriander and salt.
  4. Mix and simmer for a few minutes.
