Ingredients:

• Onion – 1/2 cup
• Butter – 1.5 tbsp
• Bay Leaf – 1
• Potato – 1/2 cup
• Garlic – 1 Clove
• Tomatoes – 2
• Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Water – 2 cups
• Cream – 1/4 cup
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. |Heat a sauce pan and melt butter.
  2. Add bay leaf, onion and potato.
  3. Stir and fry without browning.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients except cream.
  5. Close the sauce pan and cook well for few minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and cool it.
  7. Open the sauce pan and discard bay leaf.
  8. Blend this mix in a blender and run it through a seive.
  9. Add the strained liquid back to sauce pan and reheat.
  10. Serve hot and garnish each individual serving with a tbsp of cream.
