Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/4 cup – Yogurt
• 1/2 cup – Cooked Toor Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Ajwain seeds/Omam
• 1 tbsp – Kasuri Methi
• Salt
• Oil for cooking
Method:
- Mix the wheat flour, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds, kasuri methi and salt in a bowl.
- Gradually add the cooked toor dal and yogurt and knead everything to smooth dough (add water if needed).
- Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Make 8 medium sized balls from the dough.
- Dust the balls with flour and roll out as round parathas using a rolling pin.
- Heat a few drops of oil in a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides.
- Drizzle oil if needed.
- Serve with any sort of spicy side dish.
