Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/4 cup – Yogurt
• 1/2 cup – Cooked Toor Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Ajwain seeds/Omam
• 1 tbsp – Kasuri Methi
• Salt
• Oil for cooking

Method:

  1. Mix the wheat flour, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds, kasuri methi and salt in a bowl.
  2. Gradually add the cooked toor dal and yogurt and knead everything to smooth dough (add water if needed).
  3. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Make 8 medium sized balls from the dough.
  5. Dust the balls with flour and roll out as round parathas using a rolling pin.
  6. Heat a few drops of oil in a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides.
  7. Drizzle oil if needed.
  8. Serve with any sort of spicy side dish.
