Ingredients:

• 10 – Brinjals
• 3 – Onions
• 5 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tbsp – cumin
• 1/2 tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tbsp – Urad Dal (white)
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1.5 cups – Milk

Method:

  1. Add oil to pan and wait till the oil gets heated.
  2. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin and curry leaves.
  3. Add finely chopped brinjal pieces and let it cook until the brinjals soften.
  4. Add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Wait until the mixture cooks well, add milk to the mixture and let it cook until the oil separates.
  6. Serve with hot rice and ghee.
