Manchurian is a very popular and everybody’s favorite Chinese dish. It’s made with crispy vegetables balls dipped in tasty gravy. Here the step by step guide to make healthy and yummy vegetable Manchurian with gravy recipe.


For Balls:

– 3/4 cup grated cabbage
– 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
– 1 tablespoon corn flour
– 1/2 cup mashed paneer
– Salt, pepper, red chili powder to taste

For Gravy:

– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1/2 cup chopped onion, garlic, and green chili
– 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
– 2 tablespoon soya sauce
– 1 tablespoon corn flour dissolved in 1 cup water
– 1 teaspoon vinegar
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– A pinch of ajinomoto
– Salt, pepper, red chili powder to taste

How To Cook?

For balls:

1. Mix all the Ingredients into a dough and roll it out in your palms to form balls.
2. Microwave on the rotating plate at 80% power for 2-3 minute. Keep aside, turning the balls halfway.

For Gravy:

1. In a microwave safe bowl, add oil, chopped onion, garlic and chili and microwave for 2 minute at 100% powder.
2. then add the rest of the Ingredients and microwave for 3 minutes at 100% power, stir in between.
3. Lastly add the balls into it and microwave covered at 80% power for 2-3 minute. Stand it for 2 minute.
4. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
