• 250gms- broken Wheat
• 3tsp- Urad Dal
• 4 elaichi
• 200gms- Jaggery
• salt to taste
• oil for frying


  1. Soak broken wheat with urad dal in water for an hour.
  2. Grind to paste consistency. Allow to ferment for 5 hrs.
  3. Add powdered elaichi, powdered jaggery and mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai take the batter in spoon and drop it oil cook till it becomes crisp.
