Ingredients:

• ripe jack fruit – 2 cup, chopped
• semolina – 2 tbsp
• Ghee – 1 tbsp
• Jaggery powder – 3/4 cup
• thick Coconut Milk – 300 ml
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Roast semolina with Ghee till light brown and reserve.
  2. Add about 1 litre of water to jack fruit and simmer till the fruit is soft but not mushy.
  3. Sprinkle the semolina, simmer till it cooks and the mixture is slightly thick.
  4. Add jaggery and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  5. Add the coconut milk, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add cardamom powder. Serve hot or cold.
