
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Yam
• 2 – Onions (chopped)
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Peel and cut the yam into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
- Add the yam, chilli powder, turmeric and salt and mix well.
- Add 2 cups of water and cook on low heat till the yam is cooked and the water dries up.
