Sweet guava preparation with spices
2 cup finely chopped guava (amrud)
1 1/2 tablespoon crushed jaggery (gud)
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
Pinch of garam masala
2 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle.
2. Add turmeric powder, guava, salt and cook until tender.
3. Once done, add red chilli powder, garam masala and fry for a minute.
4. Add jaggery, mix well and fry until jaggery melts and dries off.
5. Serve hot.
