
Sheera recipe is simply delicious sweet dish and very easy recipe that can be made in minutes. This sheera basically made from semolina/rava. It is often made on auspicious occasion like satyanarayan katha or pooja or ganesh chaturthi where it served as ?prasad’. This recipe doesn’t need advance preparation. This pleasant and aromatic receipt is very quick to make, there is no need for any excuse or occasion to try this dish. Just try and enjoy it plain or with poori.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup semolina
– 2 tablespoons pure ghee
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 1/4 cup water
– 1/2 cup of sliced almonds, cashews and raisins
How To Cook?
1. Take ghee and heat in a pan and fry the raisin till puffed then fry the cashews till light golden.
2. Bring the water to boil in a pan.
3. Meanwhile, roast the semolina in the leftover ghee till light brown.
4. Add boiling water to roasted semolina and reduce the flame and cook till smooth.
5. Then add sugar and stir continuously till the sugar dissolves and the mixture attains the consistency of halwa.
6. Turn off the heat and garnish it with fried raisins, cashews and almonds.
