Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• 1 cup – Cabbage
• 1 – Ginger
• 4 – Green chillies
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 200 g

Method:

  1. Soak urad dal overnight or at least for 6 hours. Grind it to soft batter just like idli batter.
  2. Cut cabbage into small pieces. Grind ginger and green chillies to paste.
  3. Now mix cabbage, salt and green chilli paste to batter.
  4. Heat oil in the pan. Make vadas with your hands and deep fry them .
  5. Serve hot with coconut or ginger chutney.
