• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• 1 cup – Cabbage
• 1 – Ginger
• 4 – Green chillies
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 200 g
- Soak urad dal overnight or at least for 6 hours. Grind it to soft batter just like idli batter.
- Cut cabbage into small pieces. Grind ginger and green chillies to paste.
- Now mix cabbage, salt and green chilli paste to batter.
- Heat oil in the pan. Make vadas with your hands and deep fry them .
- Serve hot with coconut or ginger chutney.
