
Ingredients:
• 250 gm – rump steak
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 2 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 2/3 cup – crunchy oat-bran cereal
• 1/2 cup – unsalted roasted Peanuts
• 1/2 tsp – ground coriander
• 1/2 tsp – grated Lime rind
• plain flour
• 1/2 cup – Lime juice
• oil for deep frying
Method:
- Blend or process sugar, cereal, nuts, coriander and rind until fine, transfer to bowl.
- Cut steak into thin strips, toss in flour, shake away excess flour, dip into egg, then cereal mixture.
- Just before serving, deep fry strips in hot oil until crispy.
- Serve hot, drizzled with lime juice.
