
Ingredients:
• 5 soft seedless dried Dates (de-seeded)
• 3 Marie biscuits, crumbled
• 2 tbsp Sugar
• 2 drops Almond or Pistachio essence
• 300 ml chilled whole Milk
• 2 scoops vanilla ice Cream
• 1 tsp soft Brown sugar (for topping)
Method:
- Soak dates for 20 minutes in 2 tbsp. milk.
- When very soft, blend with the milk.
- Add biscuits, sugar, essence, 1/2 cup milk, blend again.
- When smooth, add remaining milk and ice cream.
- Blend till smooth and frothy.
- Pour into tall glasses, sprinkle some brown sugar on top, before serving.
- Serve chilled.
