Ingredients:
• 2 – boiled Potatoes
• 2 – Onions
• 1 tsp – sambar powder
• Garam Masala powder – a pinch
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• Salt as needed
• Water – to knead the dough
• Coriander leaves -2 sprigs
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Lemon juice.
Method:
- Cut the onions into very fine pieces.
- Mash the boiled potatoes using a fork, and add the cumin seeds to it and mix well.
- Heat oil in a kadai and saute the onions for 2 minutes.
- Add to the mashed potato mixture to this and mix well.
- Add the sambar powder, salt, ginger-garlic, garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and mix well with mashed potatoes and keep it on low flame for 3 mins.
- Allow it to cool and then add the lemon juice.
- Knead the whole wheat flour with water.
- Take small ball-sized dough and roll it into a thick roti.
- Place a tbsp of masala in the centre and cover the edges. Roll it gently again.
- Heat a tava and shallow fry the parathas – smearing ghee on both sides.
- Serve hot.
