
Ingredients:
• 8 fillet – Pomfrets
• 4 – Onions
• 1 tsp – Cumin
• 6 – Red Chillies
• 4 – Cardamoms
• 4 – Cloves
• 1/4 – Nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 6 slices – Garlic
• 1 small piece – Ginger
• 1/2 – Coconut
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Salt
Method:
- Wash fillet, apply salt and keep them aside.
- Grind finely all the above ingredients, except coconut, onion and coriander.
- Grate coconut, add 2 cups hot water and squeeze out all the milk.
- Chop onions finely and fry in ¼ cup oil until brown; add the ground masala and fry for a while, then add the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
- Wash the fish and add.
- Simmer on slow fire until the fish is cooked and the gravy is thick
- Add 1 tbsp. of lemon juice.
- Serve sprinkled with chopped coriander.
