
Ingredients:
• Basmati Rice – 1 cup
• Cinnamon – 3
• Cardamom – 2
• Cloves – 3
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
• Onion – 1
• Ghee – 4 tbsp
• Oil – 1 tsp
• salt
Method:
- Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaf to it.
- Once the colour of spices change, add the ginger garlic paste and onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add soaked rice, 1.5 cups of water, salt to taste and cook for 8 minutes in medium flame.
- Serve it hot with any gravy.
