Ingredients:

• 200 g – Goa sausages
• 200 g – Potatoes, cubed
• 2 tsp – chilli Powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 small ball – Tamarind
• 2 – Medium Onions
• 1 tbsp – Cooking oil
• 6 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 3 – Tomatoes

Method:

  1. Make the curry paste with all the masala powders and tamarind pulp.
  2. Mince the remaining items for frying.
  3. Slice the onions, tomatoes and keep separately.
  4. Put cooking oil in a dekshi and heat it, then fry sliced onions.
  5. When brown, fry the other minced masalas.
  6. When it has changed colour, put the cut tomatoes in the dekshi and fry.
  7. Then add the curry paste and some water. Add in cubed potatoes.
  8. When the potatoes are almost cooked, add the goa sausages – cut into small pieces – and fry.
  9. Add a little hot water if needed.
  10. Finally, add in more salt and vinegar, if needed.
