Ingredients:

• 2 – raw cooking Bananas
• 3 – dry red chillies, broken into bits
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 tbsp – chopped Ginger
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 8 – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut (optional)
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard, ginger and curry leaves.
  3. When the mustard starts spluttering, and the chopped onion and red chillies and fry till the onions turn slightly brown.
  4. Add the banana pieces, turmeric and salt and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook for a few minutes till the banana is cooked.
  6. Mix in the grated coconut.
