
Ingredients:
• 2 – raw cooking Bananas
• 3 – dry red chillies, broken into bits
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 tbsp – chopped Ginger
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 8 – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut (optional)
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard, ginger and curry leaves.
- When the mustard starts spluttering, and the chopped onion and red chillies and fry till the onions turn slightly brown.
- Add the banana pieces, turmeric and salt and mix well.
- Cover and cook for a few minutes till the banana is cooked.
- Mix in the grated coconut.
