Mangai Arachu Kalaki


• 4 – small raw mangoes (vadu manga)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 cup – Curd or yogurt
• For Seasoning:
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Methi seeds


  1. First cut the vadu mangoes and remove the seed, if you are using the mangoes from the pickle just wash the mangoes and then do the above.
  2. Grind together the mangoes, green chillies, curds and coconut without adding water so that the consistency remains thick, and the texture a little rough.
  3. Heat oil, add mustard and methi seeds and when it begins to splutter, add it to the above mixture.
