Maple flavoured cake made with candied walnuts, maple syrup makes your family and friends very happy to eat it. Celebrate your thanksgiving day with maple walnut cake.

Ingredients

For Cake

– Cooking spray
– 3 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 4 tablespoon baking powder
– 3/4 teaspoon fine salt
– 1 cup butter
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 3/4 cup whole milk
– 1 cup chopped walnut halves

For Frosting

– 1 cup cream cheese
– 1 cup butter
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 cups confectioners’sugar
– Salt to taste

How To Cook?

To Make Cake

1. Preheat the oven at 176 C.
2. Coat the cake pans with cooking spray. Line bottoms with parchment paper, also coat it with cooking spray.
3. In another bowl, add butter and beat it with mixture then add brown sugar to it. Add eggs, at a time one, beat it well. Then add maple syrup.
4. In a bowl, add flour, baking soda and salt and mix it well.
5. Transfer the mixture to previously prepared cake pans. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Insert a toothpick in, if the centre comes out then again cook it for some more time.
6. cool the pans for 10-15 minutes.
7. Now, in a large skillet melt the butter and then add walnuts to it and cook and stir over on MEDIUM flame.
8. Stir it in a salt and maple syrup and cook it for 2 minutes.

For Frosting

1. In a bowl, beat the cutter, confectioners’sugar, salt, maple flavouring and cream and mix them well.
2. Now, place one cake layer on a serving plate, then spread the frosting on that cake layer. Also sprinkle candied walnuts and maple syrup on it.
3. Repeat this procedures for all the layers.
4. Cover the whole cake with the remaining maple frosting. Decorate with more walnuts. And the Maple Walnut Cake is ready to serve.
